Late September finds Cape Cod settling gently into the first signs of autumn. The days are noticeably shorter, mornings carry a cooler edge, and the salt marshes are beginning to trade their summer greens for muted golds and russets. Along the shore, migrating birds continue their southward journey, while ospreys and other summer residents begin to thin from the landscape, leaving behind the quieter rhythm of the approaching fall. In keeping with the changing season, we've added a number of exceptional antique and vintage carvings to the studio, including new works by A. E. Crowell, Peter Peltz, and Stan Sparre. We're also pleased to introduce a new miniature carving by Steve - a Ring-Necked Pheasant -thoughtfully crafted to capture the distinctive character and quiet beauty of this handsome autumn bird.
